Is it because you didn’t follow-up with your chiropractic care?

Many patients stop coming to their chiropractor once they begin to feel well. They don’t follow up, or make their reexamination either. The issue with this is that as PCP’s chiropractors enter a diagnosis code to your insurance company. This code specifies a condition with your health.

smackdown_unhappy_mother_in_law-e1317397715959For many people this is not an issue, as they don’t change insurance companies or jobs very often. But soon it would appear that all of us will be on a new insurance program – The Affordable Care Act.

When the legislation began with this act, one of the many reasons for it was to provide for people who had a preexisting condition and could not get insured because of it. However this is largely becoming not the case.

It turns out that the financial assistance that [President] Barack Obama promised would be provided for those with “pre-existing conditions” under Obamacare is already being shut down because of a lack of funding…

Tens of thousands of Americans who cannot get health insurance because of preexisting medical problems will be blocked from a program designed to help them because funding is running low.

Obama administration officials said Friday that the state-based “high-risk pools” set up under the 2010 health-care law will be closed to new applicants as soon as Saturday and no later than March 2, depending on the state.

Many patients may be confronted with a problem when they are told that their neck or back pain will not be covered because they had the condition before they got onto the new plan, and did not make that March 2 deadline.

A good thing to do to prevent this is to make sure you follow up with your doctor of chiropractic even if you feel you don’t need additional care – At least have a your follow-up exam to ensure that the diagnosis is taken off of your record.

  1. Real UCS practitioners on a list on upcspine the specific chiropractic or upper cervical health centers concentrate on preventing problems. That is what is important. All ages. There are extremely gentle techniques for infants. No twisting is used. No popping, No spinal manipulation. No pushing down on the upper back. No popping of the hip sockets. Traction does not help either. Obama has been duped by diversified type or full spine or mixers. They have to be dropped like a hot lava rock. Diversified slowly twist the neck right and then left with a sharp pop at the end of the movement. You do not want that. The head does not move when the atlas is adjusted. UCS does not do spinal manipulation. Cavitation techniques are dangerous doing the equivalent of popping your knuckles.
